Philip Trice – Artist, framer and model railway enthusiast.
Having recently retired after 49 years in work, starting as a (boy) labourer, along the way working as an accountant and ending as a Computer Network Manager, I have focused my skills on creating digital copies of artwork for use as prints, posters and greeting cards.
Learning new skills to produce bespoke artwork frames, to carry out mounting and framing and to create my own artworks in the form of pastel paintings.
I now have more free time to set up and exhibit at art fairs and visit art exhibitions that are showing artworks by Jacqueline Trice.
Jacqueline Trice
Based in Kent, I create unique pieces of art, undertaking commissions and exhibiting at art fairs
I work mainly in oil and pastel in a detailed and realistic style without restriction to any certain subject. I enjoy the freedom of painting whatever I feel led to do whether it be a vase of flowers, wildlife or portraits.
I aim to create uplifting art that is inspirational and brings joy.
Making art takes me out of regular life into a world of unlimited choice, colour and meaning.
I support animal conservation with my art through Explorers Against Extinction who run Sketch for Survival. This is an Annual art competition where the top 100 selected finalists have their paintings auctioned online with all proceeds going to the charity. I have been chosen twice for the top 100. I have also supported The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation with an artwork that was selected as a finalist and sold with 50% of the sale going to their conservation initiative.
My work is included in private collections.
